The Aspire 5315 laptop is manufactured by Acer™ using devices supplied by Intel™, Microsoft™, Realtek™, Texas Instruments™, Suyin™, Conexant™, Broadcom™, Atheros™, JMicron™ and FTDI™. Graphics has two devices, the 82g965 integrated and the mobile gm965 gl960 integrated. Hd audio can have up to 4 devices, the 82801h hd controller ich8, soundmax integrated digital hd audio, 82801h hd controller ich8 and the realtek high definition audio.

Ieee 1394 system uses the tsb43ab22 a ieee 1394a 2000 controller phy link device. Imaging is designed for use with the acer crystaleye webcam hardware.

The modem hardware is controlled by the in build conexant type 2 modem device. Network can have up to 3 devices, the rtl8111 8168b pci express gigabit ethernet, netlink bcm5906m fast ethernet pci express and the ar242x ar542x wireless pci express. Storage can have up to 5 devices, the jmb362 jmb363 serial ata, 82801h 4 port sata ide ich8, 82801h 2 port sata ide ich8, 82801hbm hem ide ich8m ich8m e and the 82801hbm hem sata ahci ich8m e.
