Only the driver disk is available for Windows® XP. However Full operating systems are available for Windows® Vista & Windows® 7.

The Precision M6300 laptop is manufactured by Dell™ using devices supplied by Dell™, nVidia™, Intel™, Microsoft™, Logitech™, Ricoh™, Conexant™, Broadcom™, O2 Micro™ and Western Digital™. The bluetooth hardware is controlled by the wireless 360 bluetooth device. Quadro fx 3600m g92m supports the graphics hardware. The hd audio device utilises the 82801h hd controller ich8 and the sigmatel high definition audio hardware.

Human interface is designed for use with the v220 cordless optical mouse hardware. The ieee 1394 hardware is controlled by the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller device.

Hda cx11270 soft modem supports the modem hardware. The network device utilises the netxtreme bcm5756me gigabit ethernet pci express and the bcm4312 lp phy hardware. Sd host controllers has two devices, the r5c822 sd sdio mmc ms mspro host adapter and the xd picture card controller. Smart card readers runs on both the oz776 ccid and the r5c843 mmc host controller. Storage can have up to 3 devices, the 82801hbm hem ide ich8m ich8m e, 82801hbm hem sata ide ich8m ich8m e and the mybook external hdd.
