The IdeaPad S10e 4187 netbook is manufactured by IBM Lenovo™ using devices supplied by Broadcom™, nVidia™, Realtek™, Unknown™, Silicon Motion™ and Intel™. The bluetooth hardware is controlled by the bcm2046 device. Geforce gt 240m gt216 supports the graphics hardware. Hd audio can have up to 3 devices, the high definition audio, realtek high definition audio and the high definition controller.

Human interface is designed for use with the usb hardware. The imaging hardware is controlled by the usb composite device. The network device utilises the shiloh pro wireless 5100 agn and the netlink bcm57780 gigabit ethernet pcie hardware.

Storage system uses the 5 series 3400 series chipset 6 port sata ahci device.
