The PCV-V1/G laptop is manufactured by Sony™ using devices supplied by SiS™, Internext Compression™, Logitech™, Microsoft™, Texas Instruments™, Linksys™ and Realtek™. The audio hardware is controlled by the ac 97 sound controller device. Graphics runs on both the 65x m650 740 pci vga display adapter and the itvc16 mpeg 2 encoder.

The human interface device utilises the usb composite and the wheel mouse optical hardware. Ieee 1394 is designed for use with the pci4510 ieee 1394 controller hardware.

The modem hardware is controlled by the ac 97 modem controller device. The network device utilises the ralink rt3070 wusb100 v2 rangeplus wireless network and the rtl 8139 8139c 8139c hardware. Pcmcia system uses the pci4510 pc card cardbus device.
